hi there we had court friday and managed to win section 47 on a foster carer it can be done

The news sounds good.
I was trying not to reply because the I didn't want to dampen good news.
S47 relates to a local authorities duty to investigate, and S47 (I imagine) relates to the LA investigating their own (sometimes money hungry) foster carers. I personally think that many more investigations should be done because some carers are not good. Arguably there are some really good carers, but I am not in a position to hear about them often.
It might be helpful if you share some of the process that you had to go through to get the S47 applied. I am sure that your gained knowledge will help other parents.
I am not sure what "winning" a S47 means. The assesment is indepth and there isn't usually a winner as such, it's the recomendation that has meaning.
