Justice For Families

Someone I know is spreading untrue allegations about me.

This is person is known to be a malicious gossip and somebody he slandered got a solicitor involved to warn him to stop.

This person was a SW for a short while in the 70's.

He is just really spiteful and today I was crying about what he said to someone.Saying cos my child sometimes has bruises that I was doing it. No proof whatsoever. The only time he really gets bruises is when he trips up in the playground.

All my friends and people who know me are disgusted with this man and say they will back me up if he continues.They say he has to be stopped.

Ive even thought of getting my sol to write a letter to him like someone else did. That person is also going to back me up that he spreads malicious untrue rumours about people.

It made me really upset today and I realised how scary it must be for other people on this site who have been through this.

Especially as im going to get a local settlement so I expect SS will be gunning for me and would love anything like this.

I'd ignore him, more than likely if you send him a letter he'll go for a refferal

Yes he just sums up a SW. Hypocritical,he was told off for putting too many kids in care, and then his own wife was physically abusing his own.
although he wasnt in child dept for long,as also mental health sw,but not for long.

Avenger, don't worry.
Firstly its likely ss know all about him and wouldn't pay too much attention to what he said.
Secondly, if there was any problem with your son, school would have picked it up, they know what happens in playgrounds
Thirdly, as you say, you are going to get a local settlement, that doesn't come on its own, it comes as a result of criticism of the Local Authority.
I bet they will never ever come near you again.

I cook this person a meal,give him coffee lend him £5 and this is how he repays me.

People have ralled around and said he must be stopped. As they have been on the end of his slander.
The best way as Andrew says is just keep away from him.If I send a solicitors letter he may get more wound up.

I dont think he would do anything really silly as he would get banned from all the social things he goes to as everyone knows me.

People are saying he has got problems and they think he is going slightly potty.
The reason he thinks I hit my son is I shouted at him to go to bed. How ridiculous!!

This man was an ex SW for 3 years and its just another example of mentally unstable people going into social work. LOL

If it has come in wriitten form you can sue for defamation. If it is just spoken it is in transient form unless there is financial loss you cannot sue.
Suing is good when you win it is as good as an apology.

She is getting a letter sorted out and the people who he slandered are all going to sign it.

Im just going to stay away from him and leave it. Im just ultra sensitive to things like this as I know the power the SS have and they scare me to death. I reckon they like to get their revenge on people who persist with complaints and cause them hassle.

This guy boasted how many kids he put in care to my friend. He used to peg his own kids in their sleeping bags so they couldnt get out. His own son hit him apparently.LOL

In the 70's the sws were dealing drugs he said and were frightened the kids going in care would get worse than if they stayed at home.Sexual abuse was rife in kids homes.

Although he did say most abuse came from stepfathers who were jealous of the children and gave cig burns.

we have slander on paper by s s and by la there solicitor includeing the caf cass as well
so we have more than a case to sue then id say" as you pointed out" dorm an bogo

what do we do next and how much can you sue for????
