Suing and Taking The Authorities to court

HI All.

This is a bit I personally enjoy.

If you want to sue LA / school /PCT etc try these.

HRA 1998 must be done within 12 months of the breach occuring. County Court job/small claims too.

Breach of Duty of Care. Needs to be done within 3 years ( I think) This is Tort part of Medical Negligence. Generally a nice one to do.

DPA/ FOIA not complied with ? No problem ! Just issue a Pre Action Disclosure to get your info.

Most of these can come with damages too. Distress etc.

Also useful is
Negligence Liability of Public Authorities by Cherie Blair. But at £145.00 per copy I would advise you to get it out of the library.

If a deadline is coming up for timescales for litigation action, and complaints processes have been initiated and fudged, what is the most decisive action a person with no finance can take, so to act within the timescale?
