Hi

Postby magicdonna13 on Wed Oct 21, 2009 6:41 pm

My probs started when my 12yr old now 16 kept getting in to trouble by absconding with adults who were known to the police.

I asked SS for help and was told sorry can't help ok i thought what crap.

Then we got in a huge row me and my hubby over my oldest, ss got innvolved then.

The kids were put on the register, and numerous checks were done my son was having trouble with a slight disability.

Has he lost weight (through Aneamia) but the others did'nt he was checked by docs------nothing wrong they said then SW came in with the neglect card, stating we did not nourish my son and allowing our oldest to do what she wanted, we tried our best but what can you do.

Now they have been in care for 3 yrs. But the Judge said a big NO to adoption.

That is a brief account feel free to ask me more if you want.

But they had no case against us for the other 3.

Oh i have had total of 4 SW's and now he is going and the new will be our 5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Anmenmia - what type is it? If it's pernicious Anmemia then you'd need B12 injections and its NOTHING to do with neglect.
Could he be intolerant to Iron or having problems absorbing Iron?
It sounds as if your case is more of a medical issue than a neglect issue.

Presumably the children are still in the LA care and the Court made a care order. Was that order agreed or opposed by both parents?

Do you have a copy of the Judgment?

Obviously a report must have been put in put the court by a Doctor determining the child had anaemia. Why would you neglect one and not the others would be the point put to the courts.

It seems that SS pick on families when they ask for help or where one child might be out of control and then they try to make other issues out of nothing

Exactly, but we know these proceedings, sense and sensibility does NOT prevail to some judges!!

They even ignore Doctors Lovingmama. The Websters it was eventually found out to be a soya allergy.

What was the slight disability? Did a Dr diagnose the anaemia as one must have done for you to mention it?
