Justice For Families

Dear Fassit team,

I'm a freelance journalist, and I'm researching a feature about the twentieth anniversary of the 1989 Children Act. It will look at the successes and failures of the Act, and ask if families are getting the support they need.

I was wondering if you might be able to help me find a strong case study. I am looking for a parent whose child was recently involved in care proceedings. For example, do you know of someone who has just had their child returned to them and might be willing to share their story? Or do you know of someone whose child has been placed on the child protection register, or who thinks care proceedings are imminent?

(Please note: Case studies should not be engaged in active legal proceedings.)
