Global data base for adopted children

Postby lyndamac on Tue Nov 04, 2008 10:27 am

I have started to Campaign about a right for children to find a genetic key .As you all know my son is not adopted , I have only been parted for a number of years from him. The good news is he is in remission from leukaemia and long may he run.
I do not know how or why I was drawn to the problems facing adopted children or if I can do anything significant to help the families in closed adoption. My heart went out to another adopted family Graham Barnell he was searching for his birth mother, also a rear gene ,which was found to be mapped in the Luton area where we live now.
Graham has needed money to go out to Seattle for double corded stem cell donor.
I recently rang up the pioneer of the DNA finger printing Sir Alex Gefferries I explained the plight of many children /families who have had a miscarriage of justice in the closed family courts.
I do not need to preach to a converted audience here or for those who have lost their cases due to medical evidence being tampered with by EW's .
It is high time the attorney general looked into these cases and others in the closed courts. There is someone looking into miscarriages of justice in criminal court WHY NOT THE FAMILY COURTS TOO ?

I have put up a petition for children/adult to have their cases adoption cases opened.
Again I do not have to repeat a global data base is needed as some children have gone out of the UK and are not to be found on the good old NHS system National data bases will not cut it either when having to find a donor in a hurry.
With the growing trend of families fleeing this country rather than take a chance on rough justice .
I am asking for a global dat abase to be set up to run parallel to the existing data bases.
What ever the situation it is a dangerous 1 for adopted children/adults to be in with the system so steeped in secrecy , corruption for the duration.
Please sign the petition to support adopted children on number 10 Downing street and check out YT Graham Barnell

I have discussed this with Tim Loughton :hopefully before anything else is done concerning adoption consider this vote for opening the adoption cases or leaving a true medical history for families.
And not just a bogus version of some batty expert witness in CLOSED COURT .
Thank you in anticipation

Is Tim Laughton willing to help, as I wrote to him awhile back and he wrote me a very nice letter back, but I think he felt his hands where tied.

Do you mean adoption cases where the adoption has proved to be forced, or cases only of genetic concerns??

The AG is not responsible for the family courts.

The AG is not responsible , may be he could appoint someone then, there are enough people to go around a few more courts in the UK surely .

Peter Pan,

I think Tim Loughton is on the ball , I watch him on they work for you , he seems to be doing more than Alan Johnston is doing. I met him in May this year , he was intrigued to hear what I had to say, IF all of you think how you could present your case in court on such a controversial subject as this we could radically change this system for children/adults.
We all have a genetic key , the adopted children deserve to know quickly just what they key holds for them should they become acutely ill in the future.

The luxury of MP's sitting in debate for 5 years humming and arhing about ....
We would be better of finding funding and a business and shaming them into moving a bill through for families .

Business in the City does not stop with all of us living in a cosy couple of hundred miles away commuting to courts and House of commons.

The NHS will not stretch to Canada or Australia for British Nationals to find a stem cell donor.
